The Turtles Are Coming!

Here I am at the 24th Annual Turtle Derby sponsored by UMMC -Amplatz Children's Hospital getting my face painted. I've been coming here since I was 1 month old!

This year, Grandma even came with to see what all the hype was about.













Lily didn't remember being here last year, but she sure made up for it. Check out her cool heart and rainbow tattoo.

















This year, we had three turtles entered into the derby: Luigi, Mario, and Princess Peach












Guess who won? Devin's turtle, Mario!













What you may ask is Devin staring at SO intently? Turtles? Balloons? The Tooth Fairy? Nope.

Clowns.















We had a blast watching turtles, eating yummy food, making necklaces, getting our faces painted, and hangin' out with Grandma!

Until next year...I think maybe that's the year MY turtle will win!

Yep, at the top of my Rainbow swing set. I've come up here to rest AND get away from mom and her camera.

















Have you heard of this thing called a slip n' slide? Jake and Lily say it's all the rage here in good ole Woodbury. I, on the other hand, am not so sure about it. It seems very slippery- a lawsuit in the making. I am, however, very interested in the squirting water.

I want to drink the water, but I can't figure out how to do it...












Jake, being the good older brother, tried to show me what to do.

Lily the Gymnast

Yesterday I went to my very first gymnastics class! I waited and waited 'patiently' for this day to come and it finally did. Here I am in my new pink leotard (yes, pink-what other color would it be) on my way out the door.















The gymnastics place was super cool. I did wall head stands, balanced on beams, walked through hula hoops, jumped on a huge trampoline, swung from bars, rings, and parallel bars, and fell into a humongous pile of foam. I had so much fun. The teacher said I was very strong and a great jumper (duh!)

I CANNOT wait for next week. Move over Mary Lou...here comes Lilija Grace!
