Faster Than a Speeding Bullet

Shhhh ... you must swear on your favorite stuffed animal that we DO NOT EXIST. We want you to be safe. We do not know if we would be able to save you if you fell into our arch-enemies clutches!

What if you were kidnapped during milk time? Precious time would be lost while we enjoyed our snack time.

Not to mention cookie time- we really don't save lives during cookie time. You'd be treading on thin ice if anything happened to you during this time.

But don't worry dear friends and family- we would eventually come to your aid.

We might have to pause and contemplate your fate, or which direction you were taken in (we might have to stop by Grandpa's house and borrow his TomTom)...

We may have stop and try out some new disguises. FInding the right one is tricky sometimes. Our enemies are numerous and they know us all too well. Fortunately, the element of surprise is on our side.

We may also have to take a quick nap to re-center ourselves and re-energize.

So don't worry, go ahead- tell someone that we exist.

We'll save you...eventually!

Tree Huggers

Oh, Hi! You caught me hanging out in this sweet tree at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I have always wanted to climb a tree, so this is a a little bit of my dreams come true.

I bet you're wondering how I managed to get up there? I could say that I climbed up like a monkey, but the truth is Grandpa gave me a lift up here!

Grandpa thinks this tree is 150 years old!!!

Here Grandpa is telling me that this is the very same tree that Uncle Ed climbed up and fell out of and 'had the wind knocked out of him'! The other kids had run to get Grandma 'cause 'Ed had stopped breathing'...but by the time Grandma got to Uncle Ed he was doing better. What a goofball that Uncle Ed was falling out of a tree!

Lily decided to take a nap in the tree...just kidding! She was being a silly Lily.

Model Lily decided to strike a pose for her captive audience- I guess there's more than one way to have fun in a tree.

I did not, however, like to be in the same tree as Lily! Her hair was blowing in my face and it was bothering me. I wouldn't smile nicely for mom, so she got what she got!

It was fun to 'climb' the tree- I can't wait for my next visit because I'm going to wear jeans so I can actually climb up myself!

Baby 'Melia

I. LOVE. BABIES.

Especially baby girls. My baby Devin is great, but he's a boy baby (he is however, the only boy baby that I love).

When I'm a parent I'm going to have baby girls named 'Melia.

I can't wait for play dates with baby 'Melia. Auntie Em? AJ? Who are they? I only have eyes for 'Melia.

I love to hold her. I also get to help change her diaper and clothes. She's a real life Bitty Baby! I have so many plans for her and me...the next one involves pushing her on a swing.

I even let Jakie hold her.

But you know what, she likes it when I hold her better (shhhh! don't tell anyone)

Thanks Easter Bunny...Bock! Bock!

The Easter Bunny brought me Dora roller skates! I have been bugging Mommy for them ever since I spied them at the store!

I'm all set to go skate-I have elbow & knee pads on (safety first) and my skates. Wait a minute. I'm in my pajamas AND I don't have shoes on. Bippity...boppity...boo...

Let's Rock n' roll.

Daddy had quite the work out helping me skate, but I have to say, I have fallen in love with roller skating! I can't wait until I can do this on my own.

Egg-Stravaganza

Look at all these lovely rainbow colors! Did you know that they now make a brown color...it was one of Jake's favorites.

While Daddy prepared the dye to color the Easter eggs we had to wait...

Some of us waited better than...

others.

But we all eventually got on the same page and were beyond excited to dye the eggs (and anything else that happened to get in the dyes way)

Pinkalicious Lily colored her eggs every possible shade of pink.

Jakie experimented, dipping the egg into various colors. Some were hits and some were misses...but they were all unique and wonderful

Devin wasn't allowed to dye Easter eggs this year, so he studied the back of the egg dying kit in preparation for next year.

Voila! Aren't they
egg-stravagant?

So was Jakie's hand! It stayed that color for 2 days...he thought it was cool!
